Byhmgard has signed binding agreements to acquire Hitura, a 50 MW battery energy storage project in Finland.
Hitura is a standalone BESS project developed by Solarigo. Byhmgard will acquire the project rights, with Solarigo continuing to support the development of the project toward ready-to-build status, targeted by the end of 2026. Commissioning is anticipated in late 2027.
Hitura is the first acquisition under our framework agreement with Solarigo and marks another step toward our goal of building a 1 GW BESS portfolio across Europe.
We look forward to progressing Hitura together with Solarigo and further strengthening our presence in the Nordic energy storage market.
